The Hispanic Heritage Month or Mes de la Herencia Hispana is celebrated in the United States from September 15th to October 15th. This celebration is a recognition of the contributions that Hispanic Americans have made for the development of the United States.
Speaking Latino is also celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month. Here is a free printable poster that Spanish teachers can use to decorate their classroom. This poster is available in Letter (8.5″ x 11″), Legal (8.5″ x 14″) and Tabloid (11″ x 17″) sizes.
We created a special poster because we believe in the importance of showcasing diversity and Hispanic culture to Spanish students.
The poster features 6 images from Latin America: cacao fruit from Colombia, chocolate candies from Mexico, an indigenous girl from Mexico, textiles from Peru, artisan figures from Masaya, Nicaragua and colorful Mexican scarfs.
