Lesson Plan – Irregular Preterite Verbs – Hiking, Outdoor Activities, the Weather –
After completing this lesson, students will be able to describe outdoor activities, hiking in detail, the weather and weather forecasts, and talk about past events, especially using irregular preterite verbs.

De qué se trata
Primero, se presenta el vocabulario de senderismo y actividades al aire libre mediante una infografía, un reporte noticioso y un video educativo. Luego se repasa el vocabulario del tiempo atmosférico usando una imagen del pronóstico del tiempo y relacionándola con los deportes que se pueden realizar de acuerdo al clima. Los estudiantes descubren los verbos irregulares en pretérito en un texto y en clase se explica cómo se forma. Finalmente, los estudiantes improvisarán un diálogo en pretérito y utilizarán la información de un sitio web para presentar diferentes opciones para irse de campamento.
