Started in 2008 by Diana, a native Spanish speaker, and Jared, who became fluent as an adult, Language Babel’s mission has been to create ways for language teachers and learners to share and explore their own excitement for languages and cultures.
Language Babel achieves its mission through delivering best-selling books, annual summits, surveys, a social media community, and digital resources membership.
Best Selling Books and E-books
Language Babel has published 12 books on Spanish dialects, for 9 different countries, including 2 Latin-American bestsellers.
There are 22 Spanish-speaking countries and each of them gives the language their own unique vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation variations. Regional differences also exist in many countries. Each book is designed to teach the Spanish nuances specific to each Spanish speaking country.
Language Babel originated to bring these nuances to light.
Annual Teacher Summits
Language Babel annually puts on two teacher summits. Each event brings in experts within the community to deliver strategies to world language teachers to help keep students motivated, teaching techniques, and curriculum ideas.

Teacher Collaborative Bundle
Teachers are often responsible for buying their own classroom resources. And it takes a toll on their family budget. We search high and low to find Spanish teaching experts who have products that will make teachers’ lives easier. We take one product from each and create this mega bundle of resources teachers couldn’t get otherwise.
World Language Teacher Survey
World Language Teachers, unlike math, English, and Science, are often the only language teachers in their institution. That feeling of isolation comes with it a lot of questions and uncertainty. We decided to create a survey to answer all kinds of questions, helping teachers find out what other teachers are doing, how large their class sizes are, what are the best ways they are finding to do things.
The survey reaches thousands of teachers and is a benchmark and compliment to other surveys in the industry.
Warmest wishes,
Jared and Diana
